Tips to Dine on a Dime

*Make a list before you go grocery shopping and stick to it.

*Plan out your weekly meals on the weekend before you go shopping (Knowing you have something to make at home will help you resist the urge to stop at a local drive thru)

*Pack your own lunch.  Did you know the average family spends between $60-100 on fast food a month

*Use cheaper cuts of meat, and have them taste great by using your crockpot.  Here are some crockpot recipes

*Dedicate one night a week to leftover night.  Make new recipes from your leftovers or pull them all out and let your family choose, just like at a restaurant.

*Avoid going out to eat, learn how to make your favorite meals at home for a fraction on the cost.  Get free restaurant recipes.

*Discourage your kids from snacking all day, they will not eat it dinner and will be hungry later.  Snack foods are exspensive and generally unhealthy.
